Weld IT, headquartered in Ågotnes, was founded in 2015 with a clear vision to change the welding industry. Anyone who has worked with welding knows how time-consuming it can be to manually log and document everything that is done during the process. This was a problem that the founders of Weld IT wanted to solve.
As a result, they decided to offer a product that could both streamline and simplify for those working in the welding industry. The result was a digitization of the entire process, which led to the introduction of Weld IT, an innovative web-based solution designed to help welders keep track of, perform and document their work. Weld IT developed a system with a complete quality management and health, safety and environment (HSE) system, as well as a production management system with an integrated welding procedure bank.
With more than 30 years of experience in the welding industry behind them, the founders of Weld IT knew what the market needed. They understood that ease of use was key and have therefore maintained a continuous dialog with their customers. They work according to the
principle of continuous improvement, always looking for ways to make the system even better and more intuitive.
Since its inception in 2015, Weld IT has experienced significant growth. With customers spread all over Norway and Sweden, we have managed to expand our user base significantly. But this is just the beginning. To continue providing greater value to our customers, we have increased our dedicated team and have an ever-growing user base. Weld IT is determined to continue making a difference in the welding industry.
